urbanmorphosislabis a research laboratory established in 2018, placing its focus on investigations of the complexity and diversity of contemporary urban changes.

The major aim of the lab is to provide a research platform for investigations of diverse phenomena of urban change, which would connect international researchers with same or similar research foci and thus provide more comprehensive knowledge on contemporary forms of urban change.

The objectives of the lab are the following:

• to draw the attention to the necessity for better understanding of various manifestation forms of contemporary urban change; in particular, its causes, trajectories and implications;

• to establish an efficient exchange platform for researchers with similar interests;

• to offer both international and cross-disciplinary approaches;

• to provide various outputs in forms of scientific publications, exhibitions, conferences and public debates;

• to point out towards creative and inspiring ideas and solutions.
